- Recognize that sentences are made up of words
- Recognize end punctuation
- Discriminate between soft and loud sounds
- Participate in rhyming activities
- Act out a story
We are working in our Math Journals. We are covering the number 3 this week with a variety of activities.
This week, we are discussing how God made music. The children will be making instruments in class as well as discussing different ways to pray through music. Please look over these religion pages as they are sent home. They are packed with information to discuss.
Please remember that your child is marked as tardy if they are not in the classroom by the time the bell rings!
We are on the count-down to Christmas. Our Christmas Concert is on December 14 at 1:00 and 6:00. It will be held in the Church. All children are expected to be at both concerts. If you are not planning on coming, you must notify me so that I can rearrange their spacing and positions on the altar. The children should wear Christmas Best for the concert. NO JEANS PLEASE!
Please remember to refer to the OLL website for different classroom resources that parents can use at home.
Report cards and STAR reports go home on Wednesday. Please sign the envelope and return the envelope back to school.
There is also a scholastic book order. Our online code is PDXJX. Please turn orders in by Friday.
As always please refer to the weekly informer for upcoming events.
